Nexus Prime 的發佈原定於 10月11日發佈，其後 Google 和 Samsung 發表通告因 Steve Jobs 逝世而將有關 Nexus Prime 的發佈延遲。
而 Samsung 英國的銷售總監 Andrew Glass 就透露了 Nexus Prime 的消息，雖然仍未有確實日期，但就表示會在短期內發佈，並會很快在市場推出，會比坊間預期更早。

之前網絡上流傳 Nexus Prime 可能改在 10月27日公佈，看來 Nexus Prime 很大可能比這個日子還要早發佈，可能還會在發佈後數天內推出市場！
