Samsung 發出新聞稿，明確表示 Galaxy Note 將會在今年第二季升級 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich。
雖然用家要再等一會才可享用 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級，但這個升級還會附有一系列名為 Premium Suite 的改進，可進一步發揮 S Pen 的功能。
手寫計數
升級除了獲得 Ice Cream Sandwich 外，還會提升 S Pen 的效能，當中會加入一系列的 Apps，包括有 Shape Match, 可以用作辨認修正和將手繪圖形轉為數碼化格式。而 Formula Match，可以直接利用 S Pen 手寫作算式計算。
