之前都有很多關於 Galaxy S IV 採用甚麼 CPU 的流傳，起初有說會採用 Samsung 自家 Exynos 5 Octa 八核處理器。但之後有傳因過熱問題，Samsung 會改用 Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 四核芯處理。不過在網上，還流傳著兩種 CPU 的 Benchmark 跑分。
美國用 Qualcomm, 其他用 Exynos 5 Octa
現在又有一個關於 Galaxy S IV 處理器的新說法。根據 Bloomberg 報道，Samsung 新一代旗艦 Galaxy S IV 在美國和其他地區會有不同的 CPU 配置。
在美國，Galaxy S IV 會採用 Qualcomm 四核芯處理器：而在甚他市場則會採用 Samsung 自家的 Exynos 5 Octa 八核芯處理器。
The U.S. version will use Qualcomm Inc.’s quad-core chip, giving the phone more processing power to handle multiple tasks at the same time, … In other markets, it will rely on Samsung’s “octacore” eight-core chip, the people said.
紐約快閃舞蹈
Samsung Galaxy 將會在美國時間 3月 14日晚上7時 (香港時間 15日早上7時) 在紐約舉行發佈會，Samsung 亦先在紐約街頭自來一個快閃舞蹈表演。
