之前曾經傳過多間廠商爭取跟 Google 合作開發第五代 Nexus 手機，跟著又有傳 Motorola X Phone 會是第五代親生仔。現在又有 Nexus 5 的消息傳出，指 LG 正在跟 Google 再合作，開發 Nexus 5 手機。
雖然坊間對 Nexus 4 開售情況不太滿意，但 Nexus 4 手機對於 Google 和 LG 來說是十分成功。韓國 Korea Times 報道，LG 和 Google 兩間公司正在開發下一代 Nexus 手機，LG 更希望將合作擴展至電視甚至 Google Glass。

下一代 Nexus 手機實在太多傳言，這個消息是真是假真的很難說了。
