之前不斷有消息 BlackBerry BBM 將會推出 Android App，現在終於有明確日子。BlackBerry 正式公佈將會在 9月 21日推出 Android 版本，而 iPhone 版本則在 22 日推出。
BBM for Android 可以跟其他平台 (BlackBerry 和 iPhone) 的 BBM 溝通，BBM 可以讓用家知道訊息是否已傳送，對方是否已讀取，對方是否正在回覆，還可以分享相片和聲音短訊。App 亦支援群組對話，可以最多達 30人作群組對話。
Enjoy real, immediate conversations with friends on Android, iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones. Not only does BBM let you know that your message has been delivered and read, it also shows you that your friend is responding to the message.
BBM for Android 將會在 21日 7AM EDT 於 Play Store 推出，支援 Android 4.x 裝置 (Ice Cream Sandwich 和 Jelly Bean)，可以免費下載。
