在約兩星期前推出的 CyanogenMod Installer 已經從 Play Store 下架了。
CyanogenMod Installer 在手機安裝後，再配合桌面電腦軟件，就可以很簡單地 Unlock Bootloader, 刷上 CyanogenMod ROM。
Google Play 要求下架
早前，Google Play 聯絡 CyanogenMod 要求他們主動從 Play Store 移除《CyanogenMod Installer》App。若果他們不跟從，Google 就會將它移除下架，而 CyanogenMod 就只有跟從指示，從 Play Store 移除《CyanogenMod Installer》App。
其實《CyanogenMod Installer》App 本身並未有違反 Play Store 的規定，因為它本身十分簡單，只是提示用家啟動手機裝罝內的 “ADB” 功能，並連接電腦而矣。實際進行 Flash ROM 的是桌面電腦軟件。
After reaching out to the Play team, their feedback was that though application itself is harmless, since it ‘encourages users to void their warranty’, it would not be allowed to remain in the store.
Google Play 指問題在於鼓勵用家違反 “保用條款”，所以要求將《CyanogenMod Installer》App 移除。CyanogenMod 沒有選擇，只可照辦。

其實也不是太大問題，若想安裝 CyanogenMod Installer 可以到 CyanogenMod 網站 (www.cyanogenmod.org) 點按中央的 [Get Started] 按鈕，跟從步驟下載 APK 自行安裝便可。
