HTC 美國高層 Jason Mackenzie 接受 Re/code 訪問時表示，HTC 原先計劃會推出智能手表，但現在還未預備妥當。

而另一 HTC Creative Labs 高層指出，當他們推出產品在市場開賣，他們希望產品具有足夠吸引力，可以吸引消費者購買，但 HTC 認為市場現時已有不少一般用途的穿戴式裝置，但吸引力一般，難以吸引用家日常佩帶，市場上的產品沒有足夠吸引力可吸引消費者購買使用。
