在9 月時，Sony 公佈了 Xperia Z3 系列，還有 PlayStation 4 Remote Play 功能，玩家透過 Remote Play App，就可以將手機經由 Wifi 接駁至 PlayStation 4。手機成為 PlayStation 4 的屏幕，更可以配合 DUALSHOCK4 無線手制作操控。

Z2 數星期後也有
Sony 在官方 Blog 公佈，今天正式開放 PS4 Remote Play 予 Xperia Z3 裝罝，包括 Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact 和 Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact。用家可以在 Play Store 下載 PS4 Remote Play 使用。
Sony 亦透露數星期後，Xperia Z2 和 Z2 Tablet 也可以使用 PS4 Remote Play 功能。
