Google Play Store 之前已經停賣紅色和白色 Nexus 5，大家都預計 Nexus 5 應會快將停售。
Google 就確認 Nexus 5 已經正式停產，至於 Play Store 上的 Nexus 5 則會繼續鎖售，直至明年第一季。
once they are gone, they’re gone
Google 發言人在接受科技網站 TechRadar 查詢時，確認 Nexus 5 已經停產，並表示 “once they are gone, they’re gone” 賣晒就無。其後另一科技網站 The Verge 向 Google 查詢，Google 就指 Nexus 5 會繼續在 Play Store 和其他零售商舖鎖售直至明年第一季。
其實 Nexus 5 規格計還是頂級，而且升上了 Android 5.0 Lollipop 又再進一步，仍有一定的捧場客。不過 Nexus 6 推出了，舊機就要慢慢 phase out，不然就影響了新機的銷情。
