HTC 在 Twitter 回應查問時表示，由於 Lollipop 在 One mini 2 未能提供最好的體驗，所以 HTC 未有計劃提供相關的更新。簡單而言，就是 One Mini 2 不會有 Lollipop 升級。

而 HTC 在其後的補充亦說，他們希望為客戶提供最好的體驗，但不幸地在 One Mini 2 上提供 Lollipop 更新現階段是不可能。
We want the best possible experience for our customers. Unfortunately, bringing Lollipop to that device is not currently possible.
One Mini 2 是在上年五月左右發佈的，一年時間就沒有更新，有點過份呢。
