Facebook Messenger 正在測試加入 點對點加密 (End-to-End Encryption)，減低通話內容外洩風險，Messenger 用家可以更放心跟朋友談論一些敏感內容。
內容加密, 限時消失
Facebook Messenger 的點對點加密功能是選擇性使用的。當用家想談及一些敏感內容需要加密時，可以在對話畫面中，點按 Secret Conversation，並設定內容顯示時限，當時限一到 Secret Conversation 的內容就會從對話中消失。

Secret Conversation 只限於當前使用的裝置，即是話就算用家在手機, 平板等登入使用 Facebook Messenger，Secret Conversation 的內容亦不會在其他裝置同步顯示。而 Secret Conversation 只有基本的對話功能，不支援 GIF, Video 等。
Secret Conversation 暫時仍在測試階段，只限部份用家，預計會在今個夏季更廣泛推出讓用家使用。
