Google Hangouts 主打商業市場，繼續有功能改動。Google Hangouts 就會進化成 Hangouts Meet 和 Hangouts Chat。
Hangouts Meet 就是一個視像會議服務，而 Hangouts Chat 就是一個群組為主的通話 App。
Hangouts Meet 30人會議
Hangouts Meet 可支援多達 30人的視像會議，用家不需要特別帳戶就可以透過會議的 Shared Link 加入會議。Hangouts Meet 亦會整合至 Google G Suite 服務內，用家亦可以配合 Calendar 等功能使用。

Hangouts Chat 群組團隊為主
Hangouts Chat 就是一個以群組團隊為主的通話 App，設有 Virtual Room 亦支援 Threaded Conversation，同樣地會跟 G Suite 整合，用家可以從 Google Drive 分享文件, 相片等內容至 Chat 內。
Dedicated, virtual rooms create a lasting home for each project, with threaded conversations so your team’s progress is easy to follow. Chat’s deep integration with G Suite means shared content from Drive and Docs, or photos and videos can be viewed directly in conversations.
Hangouts Chat 亦會有 Bots, 支援Google App Script，亦有 Machine Learning 可以自動編排會議等。
兩項新功能都是以商業市場為目標，Hangouts Meet 會在今天開始推出，陸續推送至 G Suite 用家；而 Hangouts Chat 稍後會推出，但就有 Early Adopter Program 可率先試用。
Google 有一大堆通訊服務，Hangouts, Hangouts Meet, Hangouts Chat, Duo, Allo, Messenger 等。Hangouts 服務會側重在商業市場發展，Duo, Allo, Messenger 就是大眾消費客戶。至於現有 Hangouts 一般大眾用戶會如何呢？Google 產品主管 Amit Fulay 在 Twitter 就表示，”it’s not going anywhere”，即是繼續用不會有影響。
