Samsung 摺芒機在公佈就遇到挫折，多部供媒體試用的 Review Units 都出現問題，Samsung 要將 Galaxy Fold 暫緩推出。之後都不斷有消息指 6月, 7月會再推出，亦有 Samsung 高層放風話問題已修復等。
終於 Samsung 官方昨天就正式公佈，將會在 9月重新推出 Galaxy Fold，會在部份地區開售，Samsung 方面亦透露 Galaxy Fold 的改良資料。
改良 Galaxy Fold 主要有兩方面。首先是屏幕的保護層，之前很多人都誤將保護層移除。新改動下屏幕的保護層會延伸至屏幕邊框，減少用家錯誤移除的情況。第二項改動是減少外物入侵裝置的機會。會在鉸位上下兩端加設保護，亦會在屏幕下加裝額外的結構保護，藉此減少鉸位和機身等空隙。
– The top protective layer of the Infinity Flex Display has been extended beyond the bezel, making it apparent that it is an integral part of the display structure and not meant to be removed.
– Galaxy Fold features additional reinforcements to better protect the device from external particles while maintaining its signature foldable experience:
– The top and bottom of the hinge area have been strengthened with newly added protection caps.
— Additional metal layers underneath the Infinity Flex Display have been included to reinforce the protection of the display.
— The space between the hinge and body of Galaxy Fold has been reduced.
除此之外，Samsung 亦藉機一併改善了 Galaxy Fold 的操作體驗，讓更多 Apps 可以配合使用 Galaxy Fold 的獨特摺合式界面。Galaxy Fold 已準備妥當會於九月重新推出市場，開售資料將會稍後作更詳盡公佈。
