之前已有消息指 Microsoft 會將旗下的 Microsoft Defender 防護軟件引進至 Android 平台推出 Mobile App 版本。最新 Microsoft Defender ATP Preview 版本已經在 Play Store 上架，雖然可以下載安裝，但它限定只供有 Microsoft 365 E5 License 的商業客戶使用。
Microsoft Defender ATP 的 “ATP” 是 Advanced Threat Protection 的縮寫，這個 App 功能有幾方面。首先它可以掃描裝置內的 Apps 和 APK 檔案並提醒用家有否可疑 Apps，第二是欄阻從 SMS, WhatsApp, Email, 瀏覽器等開啟可疑的連結網頁，也可以阻擋 Apps 在背景的可疑連線。
另外 Microsoft Defender ATP 亦提供整合匯報至Microsoft Defender Security Center portal，還可以依照公司的安全政策限制裝置存取公司的資源例如 Email。
