Google 早兩天推出了 Pixel 4a 並接受預訂，同時亦透露 Pixel 4a 5G 和 Pixel 5 將會在第三季推出。不過 Google 法國官方 Blog 似乎意外地泄露了 Pixel 4a 5G 和 Pixel 5 的推出日期。
Google 法國官方 Blog 一如其他地區的官方 Blog 貼文介紹 Pixel 4a，當中也有提及Pixel 4a 和 Pixel 5，但不同的是在寫出Pixel 4a 於法國開售日期後，還加多了一句寫著
Les Pixel 4a (5G) et Pixel 5 seront disponibles en précommande à partir du 8 octobre 2020¹.
意思就是 “Pixel 4a（5G）和Pixel 5將於2020年10月8日開始預訂”。
Blog 貼文之後編輯修改了將這一句刪掉，但 Google Cache 仍可以看到原文。過往 Google 都會在 10月初舉行發佈會，公佈新裝置新硬件，所以 Pixel 4a 5G 和 Pixel 5 在十月預售亦很有可能。現時打算購買 Pixel 4a 的會不會多一重考慮，兩個月後就有 5G 版本甚至是 Pixel 5 選擇。
