受到疫情大流行影響，今年 Google I/O 大會取消了，一些新技術新方向未有機會展示。不過 Google 還是會舉行網上活動公佈的，Google 就會為 Search 搜尋服務特別於 10月15日 12pm PT 舉行一個名為 “Search On” 的 Online Event。
過往 Google 很少會就搜尋服務舉行發佈會，今次會不會有一些新突破新技術呢？而根據 Google 的 Search On 宣傳品，就寫著 Understand the World in New Ways，還有 “explore information like never before”，似乎是有一些新技術出現。
“Search On” Event 將會在 10月15日 12pm PT 舉行，即是香港時間 10月16日上午 3時舉行。屆時可以在 https://searchon.withgoogle.com/ 觀看。
