今早著名 Twitter Jon Posser 出 Post 表示收到消息，Google 會取消推出 Pixel 5a，原因是晶片短缺。不過 9to5Google 網站就收到 Google 發言人回應指，Pixel 5a 5G 並沒有取消。
Google 回應指 Pixel 5a 5G 將會在今年稍後時間於美國和日本推出，跟上年推出 a 系列般相若。
Pixel 5a 5G is not canceled. It will be available later this year in the US and Japan and announced in line with when last year’s a-series phone was introduced.
Google 上年因為武漢肺炎影響下將 Google I/O 大會取消，而 Pixel 4a 亦推遲公佈，延遲至八月才公佈並銷售。若根據 Google 所講，今年 Pixel 5a 5G 可能會在八月左右時間推出。
