Google 稍後會推出新一代 Pixel Buds 無線藍芽耳機，一直流傳今次新一代 Pixel Buds 售價會較相宜更大眾化，而流傳亦指它會採用 Pixel Buds A 的名字，就跟 Pixel 3a, 4a 一樣，同樣以 a 做名字。Google 方面一直未有回應 Pixel Buds A 的傳言，不過最新 Google 就意外確認了 “Pixel Buds A” 這個名字。
有德國網民在 Google Search 進行搜尋時，看到 Google Store 廣告，其中一個產品內容就是 Neu: Pixel Buds A-Series，當中德文 Neu 就是 New 的意思。這個 Google 廣告意外地確認了 Pixel Buds A 名字。
而今早 Android 官方 Twitter 亦錯誤貼出了 Pixel Buds A 的宣傳文，當中就提到 Pixel Buds A 會有 Fast Pair 體驗。貼文很快就被刪除，但下面就是截圖。
預計 Pixel Buds A 應會在兩星期後舉行的 Google I/O 2021 上公佈，根據之前的資料 Pixel Buds A 會較現時的 Pixel Buds 便宜但功能上將會有些刪減，例如耳機上的 Swipe Gesture Control 就不會有，而外形設計就跟之前的差不多。
