Samsung 公佈將會推出 Maintenance Mode 維修模式，當交出裝置維修時，可保隌用家個人私隱資料不被讀取。
現時的手機都裝載很多的個人私隱資料，例如個人資料, 相片, 信用咭資料, 聯絡人等等，但當要將手機轉交予維修時，如何確保這些個人資料不會被其他人讀取呢？Samsung 最新就公佈會推出 Maintenance Mode 維修模式。
當用家要交出裝置維修前，可以在裝置內啟動 Maintenance Mode 維修模式。啟動後，裝置內所有個人資料包括相片, 文件, 訊息等都會受到限制，維修人員亦無法得知用家安裝的應用程式。而在Maintenance Mode 維修模式下，維修人員可以建立的帳戶，亦可從 Galaxy Store 下載安裝應用程式，但當用家將裝置退出維修模式，這些帳戶, 安裝的應用程式以及相關的資料都會自動刪除。
Once Maintenance Mode is switched on, the person who was entrusted with the device won’t be able to retrieve user-installed apps either. Data or accounts generated when using Maintenance Mode are automatically deleted as soon as the owner exits Maintenance Mode. They will be able to download apps on Galaxy Store, but those will be automatically deleted along with any data or accounts created as soon as the owner exits Maintenance Mode.
要啟動 Maintenance Mode，只需要在 Settings > Battery and device care 內選擇 Maintenance Mode 並啟動，之後重新啟動裝置。裝置就會進入 Maintenance Mode 維修模式。
Samsung 表示，Maintenance Mode 之前已在韓國於 S21 系列成功測試。今天正式公佈後，會在未來數月於運行 One UI 5 系統的裝置上陸續推出，一直至 2023年陸續向更多 Galaxy 裝置推出。
