Android 14 已經推出了幾個星期，許多廠商商已經開始進行測試並將推出更新，但 Sony 則較為低調，一直沒有提及 Android 14 的升級計劃。突然間，Sony 今早就公佈向 Xperia 1 V 推出 Android 14 更新，讓這部 Sony 旗艦機領先其他廠商的旗艦機。
Sony 就著 Xperia 1 V 的 Android 14 推出的更新公告相當簡短。主要是提及將之前在 Xperia 5 V 的 Bokeh 模式改進，帶到 Xperia 1 V Android 14 上。
The new improved bokeh mode promises to elevate your portrait pictures closer to professional cameras. The addition delivers high quality images with the added ability to decrease focus in the background to emphasise objects at the foreground, producing an artistic effect. Bokeh mode is also available on 24mm lens and 48mm focal length.
另外還將 Video Creator App 帶到 Xperia 1 V 上使用，讓用家以快速簡單方式編輯製作短片，為短片加入音樂和效果。
暫時只知，Android 14 更新在歐盟和英國推出，至於其他地區則未有消息，但估計應該不會等待很久。
