每年大約二月左右，Google 就會放出下一個 Android 版本的 Developer Preview。上年 Google 就在 2月8日放出了 Android 14 的首個 Developer Preview，而今年好有可能就在明天 2月15日放出。
在 AOSP commit page 內，有 Google 人員留下的 Comment 寫著 Maybe makes sense to wait until Android V will be available? Its first Developer preview is scheduled for Feb 15
相信 Android 15 首個 Developer Preview 版本會在 2月15日推出。Android 15 按字母順序就輪到 V，也就是 Android V，而甜品代號就是 Vanilla Ice Cream。至於新版本的新功能，之前有流傳包括會有 Easy pre-set 簡化模式，方便長者使用；還有類似 Samsung Secure Folder 的功能，以及 Lock Screen Widget。
Developer Preview 主要是為 Apps 開發人員而設，而系統亦不穩定，不適合一般日常使用。一般用家若想試新，建議等待 Beta 版本推出時才安裝試用。
