早前不少 Pixel 裝置用家表示，手機出現過熱問題，而且電池亦出現明顯耗電的情況。有些人指可能是剛推出的 5月份更新所致，亦有人指可能是 Instagram 的更新引起。
Google 方面一直都未有回應，直至今早在 Android Help 網頁，Google Community Manager 貼出公告表示，Instgram 將會在今天開始推出更新，應可修正電池耗電問題，並提醒用家要確保 Instagram 是最新版本 (382.0.0.49.84) 才可解決問題。
Starting today, Instagram is rolling out an updated app that should fix a battery drain issue on Android devices. Please make sure you have the latest version of the Instagram app (build 382.0.0.49.84) to resolve this issue.
從公告所見，之前出現的耗電問題應是 Instagram 所致，而且應不限於 Pixel 裝置，其他品牌的 Android 裝置也可能受影響。無論如何，也應該更新 Instagram 安裝最新版本，以避免耗電情況。
