Sony Xperia S 已經可以升級 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich。按 Sony 之前的講法，在 Xperia S 升級之後，Xperia P 就會獲得升級，之後就是 Xperia U。但就未有一個較清楚的時間。
最近，意大利 Sony 在 Facebook 回應查詢時，表示 Xperia P 將會在八月初升級至 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich。
未清楚 “八月初” 是指全球還是只限意大利地區，但估計日子應該相差不太遠。

Android Developers 網站定期發佈 Android 平台各個版本的市佔率，最新截止 7月 2日的數字，使用 Android 4.0或以上的手機裝置已佔整體 10.9%，終於達到雙位數字，較六月的數字上升了 3.8%。

雖然片是美國 Motorola 跟 Verizon 推出的 RAZR 版本，但應該沒有多大分別。各位 RAZR 用家可以先睹為快。

Sony Xperia S 已經開始 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級，跟其他 Sony Xperia 手機升級情況相同，Sony 會按 Xperia S 手機內的 SI Number 分批推出升級。
SI Number 可以打開 Xperia S 背蓋，在機內背部找到。
