用 Wifi 连线上网，其实并不安全。即使 Wifi 已经采用加密技术，也可以被其他人截取甚至读取传送中的资料。
在互联网以至 Android 平台，也可找到这些软件 Apps，利用 APR Spoofing 技术欺骗对方手机，再截取传送中的资料。
可以发生什么事？
最简单情况是，你透过 Wifi 连线上网，并登入 Facebook。对方已可以透过 App 读取你的 Facebook 登入资料，并登入你的 Facebook 帐户。
之前介绍的 WifiKill 就是采用同样的技术，截取了对方的 Wifi 连线要求，再将这些连线要求掉弃，令对方不能连接上网。
Wifi Protector 保护 Wifi 连线
Wifi Protector App 就是针对 APR Spoofing，监察 Wifi 连线中会否有不正常的情况出现。若果侦测到这些 Spoofing 情况，App 就会发出提示(震动或铃声)。
若果手机已取得 Root权限，App 更可防止手机受到这类型的攻击。
Wifi Protector runs a service on your Android Smartphone that continuously monitors network related parameters. When abnormal behaviour is detected, an alarm is triggered. The type of alarm can be configured.
Detection and alarms work on non-rooted phones. On rooted phones it is also possible to reconfigure the phone to make it immune against the attack.
