Samsung 发出新闻稿，明确表示 Galaxy Note 将会在今年第二季升级 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich。
虽然用家要再等一会才可享用 Ice Cream Sandwich 升级，但这个升级还会附有一系列名为 Premium Suite 的改进，可进一步发挥 S Pen 的功能。
手写计数
升级除了获得 Ice Cream Sandwich 外，还会提升 S Pen 的效能，当中会加入一系列的 Apps，包括有 Shape Match, 可以用作辨认修正和将手绘图形转为数码化格式。而 Formula Match，可以直接利用 S Pen 手写作算式计算。
