Motorola 网站的讨论区内有一个 Motorola 手机平板的 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升级时间表。但部份机种郤未没有 Ice Cream Sandwich 升级，如：Droid 3 (Milestone 3)，这部在 2011年8月发布的手机也没有 ICS 升级。
点解 Milestone 3 没有 Ice Cream Sandwich 升级呢？
Motorola 在官方 Blog 答了这个疑问…
You may be wondering why all devices aren’t being upgraded to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Here’s the deal. We work very closely with Google and cell phone carriers for every software update. And, obviously we want the new release to improve our devices. If we determine that can’t be done—well then, we’re not able to upgrade that particular device.
… Motorola 希望升级可以提升装置的表现效能。若果 Motorola 认为升级未必可提升表现，那就不会为这些装置升级。
看到 Motorola 这个答案，真是不知怎么反应。好似讲得好有原因，但其实是说了等于没说。Milestone 3 的规格真是这么差劲连 ICS 也推不动？虽然是 512MB RAM，但1GHz Dual Core, 16GB ROM㖞！
