Google Play Gift Cards 正式推出，但只限美国使用。
在 Google Play 设立了一个网页作简单介绍，Gift Cards 设有三个面额 US$10, 25 和 50，并在美国的 RadioShack, Target, GameStop 等零售商店售卖。

Gift Cards 可以用作购买 Apps, 歌曲, 电影, 书本等，但不可作 App 或 杂志订阅和购买硬件/配件。
而在使用条款内则写明只限美国。就算购买了，在其他地区亦不可 Redeem，之前有外国网站曾试在英国 Redeem Gift Cards 但失败了！
Google Play Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) are valid only for users who are 13 years of age or older, and who are residents of the USA.
真的不明白为何 Gift Cards 只限美国，那些电影/书本只限美国就是版权问题，但这是 Gift Cards 呢！而且 Gift Cards 普及，可吸纳一些没有信用卡或不喜欢在网上使用信用咭的用家呢！
