在早前推出的 Google Play Store v3.9.16 版本，原来已经内藏了一些有关 Malware Scanning 的设定，看来 Google 将来会为 Google Play Store 加入 Malware 扫描功能。
Android Police 网站将 Google Play Store v3.9.16 的 APK 档案拆解，发现内里有一系列关于 Malware Scanning 的字串。

可以看到会有扫描已安装 App 的功能；另外，亦会有 Google 提示警告安装 App 可能对手机装置有影响。
很久之前，Google 已在 Play Store 服务器方面加入 Malware 检测功能。而上述的设定就是在客户端方面进行。
Wish List
除了 Malware Scanner 外，APK 内还找到 Wish 相关的字串设定。相信在稍后推出的 Google Play 可以让用家标记 Apps/Games 至 Wish List 内！

不过，这都只是一些字串设定，实际功能/画面还未看到。到底 Google 会在什么时候推出这两方面的新功能，还未清楚。过往，亦曾有类似的情况，在 Play Store APK 发现一些疑似新功能，但最终还是要等待好一段时间才推出/甚至未有推出！
