自从 Google 收购了 Motorola 手机业务后，大家都十分期待 Motorola 推出的新手机，不过一直都无任何动静。Motorola 好像停止了般，只是偶然有一些传闻流出。
Google 刚发布了 2013年第一季的财务报告，而 CEO Larry Page 亦谈及了 Motorola 手机业务。他表示刚看到一些 Motorola 将会推出的新产品，并对 Motorola 正在开发的产品极感兴趣，但就未有透露产品的详情。
不过，他亦讲及了一些关于手机装置的看法。第一样是手机电池，他指手机应可用上一整天而不需要后备电的。另一样是手机的耐用和坚固度，屏幕不会因倒泻水又或手机跌下而失灵。
Think about your device. Battery life is a challenge for most people. You shouldn’t need to carry around a charger to make it through the day. If your kid spills their drink on your tablet, the screen shouldn’t die. And when you drop your phone, it shouldn’t shatter.
Larry Page 亦表示 Motorola 的新产品，在这几方面都有很大的潜力，而过去一年 Motorola 亦有很大的进展。
Having just seen Motorola’s upcoming products myself, I’m real excited about the potential there. In just under a year, they have accomplished a lot, and have impressive velocity and execution.
Larry Page 所讲的都是很大路的东西 “电量” 和 “坚固耐用/三防”，没有实质的消息透露。有关电池方面相信跟 Motorola 之前的 MAXX 系列相关，MAXX 系列产品本身亦十分成功，续航力上远胜其他厂商的产品，在市场已有一定的捧场客。
