Google Play Music App 推出了更新版本，主要是改进数据流量使用。
在设定增加了一个选项，可选定在数据网下串流的质素，Low Quality 可消耗较少数据流量，而 High Quality 则耗用较多流量，默认为 Normal。
另外，新版本也加快音乐储存至装置的速度，改善搜寻，整体减低了数据流量使。
