Google 和 Samsung 公布，两间公司已经签订长达 10年的全球专利交义授权协议。协议授权两家公司使用对方目前已有的专利，以及在未来10年内所提交申请的专利。
Google 表示，达成这样的协议，可以减少诉讼，并更专注于创新开发。

其实过去在专利战上，Google 跟 Samsung 都是盟友，主要对手都是 Apple。今次的协议进一步巩固两者关系，当然协议亦有利于两间公司在新科技的开发。
