新西兰 Samsung 在官方网页的保养条款中，不经意透露了 Galaxy S5 Mini 俱备防水功能。
在 Warranty 页面，内里有写关于 S5, S5 Mini 的防水条款
D. This Warranty does not cover water damage to the Samsung Galaxy S5, S5 Mini or S4 Active Mobile Phone where the water damage was caused by:
• improper closure of the back cover of the Samsung Galaxy S5, S5 Mini or S4 Active Mobile Phone; or
• use of a non Samsung accessory cover; or
• submersion of the Samsung Galaxy S5, S5 Mini or S4 Active Mobile Phone in water for 30 minutes or more; or
• the depth of the water at which the Samsung Galaxy S5, S5 Mini or S4 Active Mobile Phone was submerged was greater than or equal to 1 metre.
见到条款中，S5 和 S5 Mini 都是一致的，相信两者的防水规格级应是一样 IP67。
