Google 在 2012年收购了 Quickoffice，之后更将 Quickoffice 转为免费 App。随后亦见到 Google 将各项 Office Apps 功能陆续加添至旗下的 Google Drive 服务内，往后更有 Google Docs, Sheets, Slides apps，可以预计 Google 最终会全面替代 Quickoffice。
较早前 Google 就在官方 Blog 内公布，会将 Quickoffice 从 Google Play Store 和 Apple App Store 下架，正式退休。现有已安装 Quickoffice 的用家可以继续使用，但往后不会再有更新，而新用家就不可安装 Quickoffice 了。
想要使用 Office Apps 就可以选用 Google Docs, Sheets, 和 Slides Apps。
With the integration of Quickoffice into the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides apps, the Quickoffice app will be unpublished from Google Play and the App Store in the coming weeks. Existing users with the app can continue to use it, but no features will be added and new users will not be able to install the app.
