Motorola 在官方网志透露，当 Android 5.0 正式放出后，将会为旗下多款手机提供更新。
网志内提及获得升级的手机包括：第一和第代的 Moto X 和 Moto G，还有 Moto G 4G LTE, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx 和 Droid Mini。不过仍未有确实的升级时间表。
Once Android 5.0 L is officially released, we intend to bring this latest upgrade to many of our other Motorola devices, as well. This includes Moto X (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G with 4G LTE, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini.
