Microsoft 早前透过 Google+ 为 Office for Android 推出了测试，参与者要申请填写装置资料，经筛选才可下载测试。现在 Microsoft 在 Play Store 放出了Microsoft Office for Android Preview 版本，有 Word, Excel 和 PowerPoint，可以免费下载。
只限 4.4+ 平板
这个 Microsoft Office for Android Preview 版本是为平版装置优化的，所以也只限 大于 7的平板下载，还要配搭 ARM based 处理器，有 1GB RAM，并且是要运行 Android 4.4 KitKat 或 5.0 Lollipop 才可。
