Google Nexus, Pixel 装置都已经升级至 Android 7.1.1，但可升级机中 “最老” 的 Nexus 6 一直就未有 Android 7.1.1 升级。
就如先前的消息，Nexus 6 会在一月初升级 7.1.1。终于今早 Google 放出了 Nexus 6 Android 7.1.1 升级，最新的 Build Number 为 N6F26Q。这个 7.1.1 跟其他一样会支援 App Shortcuts, Image Keyboard 亦有新的 Emojis。另外也包含了最新的一月份 Security Update。
各位 Nexus 6 用家可以留意 OTA 更新通知，应会在未来数天陆续推送至装置。若不想等待，也可以下载 Factory Image 或 OTA Update Image，自己手动方式 Update。
