不少大厂手机都会加入自家界面，突显自己的特色和功能，例如 Samaung TouchWiz, HTC Sense 等。Lenovo 也有 Vibe Pure UI 但已成为过去。Lenovo 已决定放弃 Vibe Pure UI 界面，改为采用 Stock Android。
Lenovo MBG India 手机业务高层 Anuj Sharma 在受访时透露，Lenovo 在过去一段时间检视在软件方面的发展，并聆听用家的意见。Lenovo 决定放弃采用 Vibe Pure UI 界面，改为使用 Stock Android。而 K8 Note 将会是 Lenovo 首部没有 Vibe Pure UI 的 Stock Android 电话。

近来亦有不少厂商改用 Stock Android，不再添加自己的界面，毕竟 Stock Android 的界面本身已十分完善，而且坊间亦有很多 Launcher 配套选择，厂商亦可集中软件开发资源于一些特定配置，例如相机, 音效等。采用 Stock Android 另一好处是 Android 系统更新会较容易，用家亦可更快收到更新。
