之前 Google 已透露 Google Assistan 人工智能助理会扩展至家庭电器，LG 就是其中一个合作厂商。LG 发出了新闻稿公布旗下 87款家庭电器将可支援 Google Assistant。
这些具备 Wifi 连接功能的家电包括洗衣机, 干衣机, 焗炉, 洗碗碟机, 吸尘机, 空气清新机等，用家可以透过具备 Google Assistant 功能的 Google Home 或 Android / iOS 智能电话进行操控。
LG today announced that 87 Wi-Fi connected LG smart home appliances – including washing machines and dryers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, vacuums, air purifiers and more – are now compatible with the Google Assistant on Google Home, eligible Android phones and iOS smartphones.
用家可以透过语音操控，可以查问洗衣程序剩余时间, 指示雪柜制冰, 调较冷气温度, 查问空气清新机空气质素等。在手机装置只要安装 LG SmartThinQ App，用家就可以操控 LG 智能家电整个系列，用家可以随时随地预热焗炉, 开启冷气等。而 SmartThinQ 亦可学习用家的使用规律，分析用家习惯数据，借此预计用家所需提示用家。
