Google 每月都会为 Android 系统放出 Security Update，修正系统内的漏洞提升安全。而手机厂商收到 Android Monthly Security Update 后也会为旗下手机推送安全更新，当然旗舰机, 高阶机和新机都会较多有更新，至于一些低阶机以及旧型号就会被遗忘。
LG 也一样，当收到 Google 放出的 Security Patches 更新也会连同 LG 自家的 Security Update 推送至用家的手机。最近在官网 Security Bulletins 提到，Security Maintenance Releases 只限于 G5, G6, V Series, Q Series 和 X Series。部份型号已不再有 Monthly Security Update，如 LG G3, G4, G4 Stylus, Stylo 等。

– G series (G5, G6), V series(V10, V20, V30) , Q Series(Q6, Q8) , X Series(X300, X400, X500, X cam)
若果你是 LG G3, G4 的用家就要留意，手机不再有 Security Maintenance Releases。
