Android 9 Pie 在八月时已经正式推出，暂时只有 Google Pixel 系列和 Essential Phone 推出了 Android 9 更新。最新再有 OnePlus 6 提供 Android 9 Pie 更新，但是属于测试的 Open Beta 版本。
Android 9.0 Pie 首个 Open Beta 除了有 Android 9 的系统改动外，亦有一些 OnePlus 的更新改动，包括：Color Customization, 全新的 Do Not Disturb 模式, 以及 Gaming Mode 3.0。

Google Pay 未能运作
这个是 Beta 版本，也有一些尚未解决的 Known Issues，包括：Google Pay 未能运作, Google Play Store 会显示 “Device is not Certified by Google”
，而有些 Apps 可能在 Beta 版本下未能运作。
想要使用 Open Beta 可以下载ROM 至手机内，并在 System Update 选择 Local Upgrade 安装。若果是从之前的 Developer Preview 版本更新的话，还需要 Wipe Data。
