Samsung 折芒机在公布就遇到挫折，多部供媒体试用的 Review Units 都出现问题，Samsung 要将 Galaxy Fold 暂缓推出。之后都不断有消息指 6月, 7月会再推出，亦有 Samsung 高层放风话问题已修复等。
终于 Samsung 官方昨天就正式公布，将会在 9月重新推出 Galaxy Fold，会在部份地区开售，Samsung 方面亦透露 Galaxy Fold 的改良资料。
改良 Galaxy Fold 主要有两方面。首先是屏幕的保护层，之前很多人都误将保护层移除。新改动下屏幕的保护层会延伸至屏幕边框，减少用家错误移除的情况。第二项改动是减少外物入侵装置的机会。会在铰位上下两端加设保护，亦会在屏幕下加装额外的结构保护，借此减少铰位和机身等空隙。
– The top protective layer of the Infinity Flex Display has been extended beyond the bezel, making it apparent that it is an integral part of the display structure and not meant to be removed.
– Galaxy Fold features additional reinforcements to better protect the device from external particles while maintaining its signature foldable experience:
– The top and bottom of the hinge area have been strengthened with newly added protection caps.
— Additional metal layers underneath the Infinity Flex Display have been included to reinforce the protection of the display.
— The space between the hinge and body of Galaxy Fold has been reduced.
除此之外，Samsung 亦借机一并改善了 Galaxy Fold 的操作体验，让更多 Apps 可以配合使用 Galaxy Fold 的独特折合式界面。Galaxy Fold 已准备妥当会于九月重新推出市场，开售资料将会稍后作更详尽公布。
