Minecraft 是一个极之受欢迎的游戏，之前 Microsoft 已公布会推出 AR 形式的 Minecraft Earth 游戏，在八月时亦已推出 Closed Beta。最新就透露将会在十月开始于部份国家推出，可以 Early Access 率先玩，不过就未有透露是在那些国家推出。

Minecraft Earth 是 AR 扩张实境形式的游戏，玩家需要透过电话装置以 AR 形式搜集资源，建造自己的世界。玩家可以在桌面上以 AR 形式建造大型建筑，建立自己的世界。在6月 Apple WWDC 上 Minecraft Earth 亦展示了一些 GamePlay 情况。
