Google 已透露将会在 8月3日公布新电话，应该就是 Pixel 4a。而最新在 Android Open Source Project (AOSP) 就首次出现了 Pixel 5a，在其中一段 Comment 就列出了各个 Pixel 装置和相应的 Android 版本。
其中一行是 30 (R) Pixel 4a 5G/5/5a，当中 30 是 API Level Number 也就是 Android 11 (Android R)。由此可知，这三部机 Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5 和 Pixel 5a 都是预载 Android 11 的。
要留意是 Android 11 要到 9月才正式推出 Stable 版本，也就是 Pixel 4a 5G 并不会在 8月3日推出，相信要等到 9月以后才会登场。
