之前已有消息指 Microsoft 会将旗下的 Microsoft Defender 防护软件引进至 Android 平台推出 Mobile App 版本。最新 Microsoft Defender ATP Preview 版本已经在 Play Store 上架，虽然可以下载安装，但它限定只供有 Microsoft 365 E5 License 的商业客户使用。
Microsoft Defender ATP 的 “ATP” 是 Advanced Threat Protection 的缩写，这个 App 功能有几方面。首先它可以扫描装置内的 Apps 和 APK 档案并提醒用家有否可疑 Apps，第二是栏阻从 SMS, WhatsApp, Email, 浏览器等开启可疑的连结网页，也可以阻挡 Apps 在背景的可疑连线。
另外 Microsoft Defender ATP 亦提供整合汇报至Microsoft Defender Security Center portal，还可以依照公司的安全政策限制装置存取公司的资源例如 Email。
