Google 公布 Google Drive 由10月13日开始，更改垃圾桶内档案的保留政策。
过往用家在 Google Drive 将档案删除后，就会掉进垃圾桶内并一直保留，直至用家清倒垃圾桶。10月13日起这做法就会改变，档案掉进垃圾桶后就会保留 30日，30日后档案就会从垃圾桶内自动删除。至于过往之前一直存在于垃圾桶的档案，到了 10月30日并不会即时删除而是会保留30日，过了30日就会自动删掉。
Starting October 13, 2020, we’re changing the retention policies for items in the Trash in Google Drive. With this new policy, any file that is put into a Google Drive trash will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
Google 表示这个垃圾桶删除做法是要跟 Google 其他产品的操作一致，让用家有统一的使用体验。
