Google Goggles 推出了新版本 1.6，有一项新的功能将你的相机变得更聪明。
当你选用这个新功能时，你可以如常使用手机的相机进行拍照，而 Google Goggles 就会在背后运行，分析你的相片。当 Google Goggles 在相片当中可以辨认出物件时，它就会通知你。

Facebook 推出更新，版本为 v1.7。这次更新都有颇多改动，包括贴文中可以设定私隐，亦可以 Tag 相。
