Google I/O 2012 开发者大会于 27/6 – 29/6 为期三日于美国举行。会上将会发布 Google 在不同范畴的发展, 新产品/技术展示，包括 Android 平台, Chrome, Google Apps 等。
今年最触目的项目，当然包括 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 和 Google 自家平板 Nexus Tablet。另外，亦有传对应 Apple Sire 的 Google Assistance Majel 可能会亮相。
Day 1 KeyNote Live Stream
Google I/O 2012 将于今晚凌晨开始，Day 1 KeyNote 会在今晚 12:30举行。下面是 Live Stream 直播。
在 Google 总部，Jelly Bean 公仔已经伫立，就在 Ice Cream Sandwich 旁。
一向以来，Google 都会在 Android 新版本发布前，将它的代表公仔伫立在总部的草坪上。而 Jelly Bean 公仔出现，亦即是话在今晚凌晨展开的 Google I/O 大会上会发布 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean。
下一版本的 Android 名称和版本编号一直有很多猜测，现在终于可以确认。下一版本为 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean。
Google 在 Play Store 销售的 Galaxy Nexus HSPA+，清楚标明为 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean。
Google I/O 2012 大会将在下星期举行，而《Google I/O 2012》App 亦在 Google Play Store 上发布。
在 Play Store 上其中一张 Screen Capture 就令人猜想是否是 Android 下一个版本的新界面。
一直都有传 Asus 会为 Google 推出 7 吋 Nexus 平板，亦有传会运行下一代系统 Android 5.0 Jelly Bean 。
Jelly Bean 是 Android 4.1
但从最新在 Benchmark 网站找到的资料显示，这部 Nexus 平板应是运行 Jelly Bean，但版本为 Android 4.1，而不是 5.0。
根据华尔街日报的报道，Google 或会跟多达五个厂商合作，研发和推出下一代 Nexus系列的手机和平板，并透过自家的渠道销售。

DigiTimes 表示，Google 将会在数个月内推出 Android 5.0 Jellybean。
Android 5.0 Jellybean 将会就平板作出优化，最特别之处是支援 Dual Boot 设计，即是可一部装置设有两个系统，除 Android 5.0 外，还可配搭 Windows 8。
