Samsung 今天發出新聞稿公佈推出 Galaxy Fold，並會在 9月6日於韓國開售，隨後會在法國, 德國, 新加坡, 英國, 美國及其他國家陸續推出。Galaxy Fold 會備有黑色和銀色選擇，而5G 版本亦會在特定市場推出。
Galaxy Fold 原先在四月開售，由於是屏曲屏幕設計，公佈時十分觸目，但多部 Review Units 接連出事，Samsung 最終叫停開售。
During the past several months, Samsung has been refining the Galaxy Fold to ensure it delivers the best possible experience. Not only we improved the Galaxy Fold’s design and construction, but also took the time to rethink the entire consumer journey.
之後重審視 Galaxy Fold 的設計，最終於就作出了一些修改，包括將屏幕上的 Protective Layer 延伸至機框之內以減少被錯誤移除，另外亦將屏幕的鉸位連接更緊密地覆蓋以減少外物入侵。
