WhatsApp 其中一個最多人要求的功能就是轉移對話記錄，當用家轉換電話時，若想從 iPhone 轉用 Android 電話，最麻煩就是如何將舊有的對話記錄完整地轉至新電話。終於 WhatsApp 正式支援轉移對話記錄，可以將 WhatsApp 記錄從 iOS 轉移至 Android 系統，當中還會包括語音訊息, 相片和影片。
We’re excited to start rolling out the ability to move your WhatsApp history from iOS to Android. This happens without your messages being sent to WhatsApp in the process and includes voice messages, photos and videos.
當用家在新裝置設定 WhatsApp 時，畫面就會提供選項讓用家將舊裝置的對話記錄轉移至新裝置。過程中用家需要以 USB-C to Lightning cable 連接兩部裝置以傳輸資料。不過這項轉移功能暫時只限於運行 Android 10 或以上的 Samsung 裝置。WhatsApp 表示稍後會將這項功能陸續擴展至其他 Android 裝置。
