來自 ABI Research 的數字，在 2011 年第二季 Android 已經超越 iOS，成為下載量最多的手機 App平台。
整體Apps 下載數量中，Android 佔了 44%，而 iOS 只佔 33%。
Ice Cream Sandwich SDK 移植至HTC Desire
之前已經有人將 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 的 SDK 移植至 Nexus One 上運行。XDA 討論區內又有另一個類似的移植，今次是將 Ice Cream Sandwich 的 SDK 移植至 HTC Desire。
片中所見，HTC Desire 運行 Ice Cream Sandwich 尚算流暢。畢竟是 SDK 移植，相信將正式的 Ice Cream Sandwich 安裝至 HTC Desire 表現會更佳。
第三季全球平板電腦銷售，Android 佔 27%
來自 Cnet 的報道，研究調查機構 Strategy Analytics 的報告指出今年第三季全球平板電腦銷售中，Android 佔 27%，而 Apple 則佔 66.6%。
在第三季，全球有 16,700,000 平板電腦付運，蘋果佔了 11,100,000 部，而 Android 則有 4,500,000部。兩者合共佔了 93.7%，餘下的就由 Windows, RIM 等分享。
HTC 回應 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級事宜
HTC 在 Facebook 貼文，回應旗下手機升級 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 事宜。
HTC 表示會仔細研究 Android 4.0 內的各項功能和運作以決定升級計劃。
